Build description
Relatively easy to acquire, strong, beginner Necromancer DPS build, focused on stamina sustain and high direct damage.
Atribute points
This is simple, put everything in Stamina.
Skill points
At each skill bar the first ability inflicts damage while restoring health at the same time, for example Ruinous Scythe (Bone Tyrant Dead Scythe morph) and Draining Shot (Bow Scatter Shot morph). The Living Death skills have proven not to be very effective in health regeneration for me.
I will let you mix and match the remainder of the slots of both bars, but do not remove those 2 damage/restore skills that I mentioned, they boost health quicker than health buffs (which don't deal damage at the same time either) and can proof invaluable when your health is about to deplete.
Champion points
These are mostly spend on things that boost stamina and stamina sustain, direct damage and DOT damage. As well as giving us some health restoration boosts.
Armor
Head: Stormfist Monster set, Trait: any, Enchantment: health
Shoulders: Stormfist Monster set, Trait: any, Enchantment: stamina
Chest: Hundings Rage, Trait: any, Enchantment: health.
Arms: Hundings Rage, Trait: any, Enchantment: stamina.
Belt: Hundings Rage, Trait: any, Enchantment: stamina.
Legs:Hundings Rage, Trait: any, Enchantment: health.
Feet: Hundings Rage, Trait: any, Enchantment: stamina.
Jewelry
Ring 1: Leviathan, Trait: robust, Enchantment: physical damage.
Ring 2: Leviathan, Trait: robust, Enchantment: physical damage.
Necklace: Leviathan, Trait: robust, Enchantment: stamina recovery.
Weapons
Hand 1: Leviathan, Trait: precise, Enchantment: weapon damage
Hand 2: Leviathan, Trait: precise, Enchantment: weapon damage
Bow: Leviathan, Trait: infused, Enchantment: absorb stamina
If your gear does not have the correct Enchantments you can enchant it using "Truly Superb Glyphs".
Where to get gear?
- Storm Fist monster set: This 2 piece set, consists out of a helmoet and a shoulderpiece. The helmet drops from the boss at Tempest Island on Veteran, the shoulder piece you can get from an undaunted store.
- Hundings Rage: this is a craftable set. Ask any of your guild buddies to craft one for you, I paid 3K for mine which is not much.
- Leviathan: armor, jewelry and weapons can be farmed at Crypt of Hearts I & II both normal and veteran.
I recommend veteran mode for all farming because of the purple gear you get. However, should you choose to go for normal mode you can improve the blue gear to purple if you have the mats.
Recommended Guilds:
Fighters: Imo mandatory skilltree for every DPS build.
Undaunted: Mostly for the passive skills, must have for DPS.
Mages: You can try to slot one ability just to level it up a bit, better to start early, you never know if it might come in handy in the future :-)
