Build description
Stamina NB with a focus on survivability (mostly obtained by killing the enemy^^).
Focus is on poison/disease-damage with some self-heals, evades and lots of dots for enemies. Depending on PVP situation I adapt my 2nd bar
solo or very small-scale PVP (2-3 ppl, no healer): as shown
small scale PVP with a healer (6 ppl approx): bombard instead of piercing mark
big scale PVP (12 ppl+): bombard instead of piercing mark and caltrops instead of vigor
2 things that are absolutely critical:
fear (mass Hysteria) - life saver to scare off a bunch of enemies, also THE killer for perma-healers, perma-shielders and perma-hiders
cloak - pauses dot, guarantees crit damage for the next attack and most importantly: gets you away if an evil opponent proves stronger than you!
Works perfectly with the following equipment:
eternal hunt:
-chest (heavy)
- belt (light)
- legs, gloves, boots (medium)
viper:
- helmet (medium)
- necklace, 2 rings
- dagger on dual wield bar
- bow on bow bar
Molag kena
- medium shoulder for increased damage
5 armor traits are impen, rest is divine
6% more health, stamina and magica via undaunted passive
mundus sign: thief
TYPICAL ATTACK ROTATION
buffing phase:
1) bar1: relentless focus
2) bar 2: shuffle, piercing mark (on target), cloak
attacking phase:
3) bar 2: poison arrow - let the damage start ticking ...
4) bar 1: ambush, siphoning attack (for 20% more weap damage), rending slashes ... more damage ticking
finishing phase:
5) bar 1: fear - no help against -->
6) bar 1: incapaciting strike
EVERY NORMAL BUILD IS DEAD RIGHT NOW IN A 1vs1 SITUATION UNLESS HE'S
--> a very strong healer or a very strong shielder (or has a very strong healer right at his side - then focus on the healer first!) ... or
--> He's pretty good on his own ... :D
7) bar 2: poison arrow (health should now be below 50% unless you meet a perma-healer in heavy armor. But I'm using POISON on my bow, so his magica and stamina skills should become VERY expensive and his health should tick own mercilessly)
8) bar 2: cloak (again)
9) bar 1: ambush, siphoning attack, rending slashes, fear
--> repeat step 7-9 until opponent is dead, use incapaciting strike whenever possible after fear (too good to waste on someone blocking or dodging)
More hints:
- keep in mind to constantly WEAVE (light attack/animation canceling/skill) - I make close to 50% of my kills with light attacks
- exception: you have cloaked - then you want your next SKILL to be critical, so no light attack in advance
remember to watch out and adapt
- no fear on immune enemies - it's a waste of time and magica
- dodge roll enemy attacks
- cloak and GET AWAY when your 1 or 2 opponents get help from a zerg. No build can make you victorious in a 20vs1 situation, no matter how bad each of them plays individually
- check your buffs and rebuff whenever necessary
often forgotten but extremely important:
- use your environment: fight from the hights, have an escape route, use rocks/big trees/walls to break line of sight
- avoid doors in emergency situations - Either they don't open at all, or they kick you back out. 10% chance to really GET INSIDE. Try to get rid of your enemy first (kill, run away, cloak), then go to a door, press E and pray
- know your enemy's tactics - avoid bottleneck positions with bomb squads, avoid jumping on the "one idiot standing in the open" In 95% of all cases, he will have 5-8 hidden friends at his side. 10+ if he's EP. No kidding!
1-hit/ganking-configuration:
replace bar 2/2 (piercing mark) with focused aim
-> buff like above
-> focused aim, weave light attack, poison arrow
-> target dead (unless very strong or healer healing - then shoot another poison arrow)
