Build description
This is my actual main characters build. I'm on NA PS4 server under billyjackbeats. This build is a lot of fun to play, has good damage, good healing and decent sustain (I use just regular drop magicka potions mostly). This is not one of the best in slot builds that most people are going for. This is a fun role play sort of build that just happens to be capable of completing end game content. Anyway, here's my build.
Gear - This is what I like, feel free to use whatever you like.
Head - Heavy Valkyn Skoria infused helm drops in veteran city of Ash II
Shoulder - Medium Valkyn Skoria divines arm cops found in Gilirion the Redbeard chest
Chest - Legs - Waist - Hands - Feet - Burning Spellweave which drops from city of ash. I go infused on the chest and legs and divine on the rest.
Jewelry - Infallible Mage with spell damage enchants which is found in Aetherian Archive, Sanctum or Hel Ra trials.
Staffs are both genetic precise flame staffs with main bar using a flame damage enchant and back bar using a spell damage enchant. (Ideally use a maelstrom on back bar of you have one and an Infallibe staff on front bar)
Consumables - this is what I keep on hand
Blue max health max magicka food - I use this overland while questing, farming gear, dancing, stealing etc.
Purple witchmothers brew - I use this for dungeons and trials for the extra recovery
Double bloody Mara - I have these just in case I find myself in a bad pug and fire is killing me
Plain old restore magicka potions - found everywhere for free - I drink these as part of my regular rotation :)
Crafted spell power potions - use cornflower, lady's smock and water hyacinth, I have them on hand but don't use them much since I do get major sorcery and major prophecy from skills anyway, but good to have if I need to swap skills in certain situations.
Speaking of skill swapping here are some others I use.
- Elemental drain in place of sap on boss fights if needed.
- Shadowy disguise in place of sap while I'm running around stealing and killing cows.
- Concealed weapons in place of swallow soul, also useful while killing cows. Gotta say, there's nothing like a drunken high-speed perma-cloak murderous citizen rampage before bedtime folks ;)
Here's a tip, my skill bars are set up the way they are to take advantage of passives. Read your passive abilities closely and it will make sense. Example: just when a mob is close to death, hit it with impale and then quickly bar swap and drop blockade before it dies. Assassination and destruction passives will give you magicka return and soul harvest will give you ultimate. Nice trick right?
Champion points and Mundus stone advice: do what you like, just play the game, if you never run out of magicka, change your stuff to go less sustain and more damage. If you are always out of magicka, change your stuff to go less damage and more sustain. Don't copy other people's champ points because maybe they press buttons faster than you, or maybe they use a different rotation than you, or maybe they are a better light attacker than you, or maybe they are a better heavy attack weaver than you, or maybe they have a better tank than you, or maybe they have a better healer than you, or maybe they said "do your champ points like this" and they have no clue wtf they are talking about...... Catch my drift?
And don't forget, make somebody a vampire every week!
Enjoy, hope you like the build......
