Welcome to the world of pet sorcerer this build is a beginner friendly guide that can be adapted and used right through to end game content. I have personally used this build to completed every Veteran piece of content that ESO has to offer and all HM content including trials except for Veteran Cloudrest +3.

As of the Murkmire patch a large proportion of the magic sorcerer player base has reverted to a traditional non pet build and whilst those build can pull greater DPS numbers this build is far more survivable and offers greater utility to your group.

In terms of the actual build there a few things that you should be aware of. The pet sorcerer has different scaling to that of its non pet build and that of other classes. Your pets damage will only scale of your max magic and is not affected by Spell damage unlike other class skills. The second part is that your implosion passive in the Storm calling skill line scales off of max Health. Similarly your shields are now capped on your max health however they do now take resistances into consideration.

Now to get into the meat and bones of the guide. You'll notice that I have left a blank space on the back bar this is because we have 1 free flex slot meaning you can pretty much run what you like here. For Group content where I have a dedicated healer I prefer to Slot Inner light. However if your out and about in the world doing quests feel free to slot Surge here for healing and major sorcery.
