Build description
Tank sorcerer, DB DLC (ESO version 2.4.x)
Allows you to run all the content in ESO as a sorc tank.
Build focuses on the use of shield stacking, and dealing a bit of damage on the side to help the group in dungeons.
CP attribution allows to respec as a decent DD with just a gear/skill swap, or even a full DD with an extra food/mundus change (usefull for Darkshade, vWGT, and first boss of vMoL - or if you want to do something else than tanking :p)
Stats (with triple food and Tower Stone, 501 CP) : ~25k HP, ~30k Magicka, ~20k Stamina, 28k Spell Res, 22k Physical Res.
Gear :
- Vet Dungeons, AA, HRC :
2 Engine Guardian / 5 Seducer / 5 Footman : old and classic setup but still works like a charm. Engine Guardian allows resource comfyness but is not an absolute necessity. Seducer is perfect though since we gain 8% cost on all our skills (but the taunt) and gives a nice Magicka pool and regen boost.
- vMoL :
2 Blood Spawn / 5 Tava's Favor / 5 Ebon Armory : in vMoL we want more HP (Ebon provides a buff for all the raid), armor, and Ultimates for Aggressive Horn "spam" (provided by Blood Spawn proc)
I swap Liquid Lightning and Mages' Wrath for Shuffle and Dark Deal in vMoL for Dodge (no damage incoming when dodging and procs Tava's buff) and stam management.
For 1st boss in vMoL, since I can, I am the tank who switch to a DD role. I then use 2 Kena, 5 Julianos, 3 Willpower, 1 Maelstrom Staff (skills : Force Pulse-Crystal Frag-Elem Blockade-Elem Ring-Inner Light-Shooting Star/Liquid Lightning-Mages' Wrath-Boundless Storm-Proxi Det-Inner Light-Power Overload).
I take the Thief Mundus Stone for the boss, and switch back to the Tower stone for the next part.
I have not tested vet Sanctum as a tank yet.
Neither did I re-geared since the DLC, so all my gear is still Infused on the big pieces and Divines on the small ones (and Defending on the weapons), but if one crafts a new gear, Sturdy on 1-3 small piece should be heavily considered (and Decisive trait on the Weapons for vMoL, for extra Ulti points)
