Build description
Focused on endless recovery, so that you can keep using all those expensive werewolf skills. Best used with either Smoked Bear Haunch or Crown Refreshing Drink, as each drip of recovery we get is almost doubled. You'll be sitting pretty with over 3k recovery on every stat. On top of that, Oakensoul and Werewolf gives us just about every buff under the sun. To taunt we just need to medium attack, so it's really easy to keep up once you get the hang of it. We also don't have crazy block strength, so dodging super heavy hits is ideal hence the focus on medium armor(DLC Vet level). We are armed to the teeth though, and can heal in moments, so no stress. Finally, Rush of Agony lets us stack and stun large groups easily, and gives us just that little bit more damage for sainity while going solo.
This might seem selfish for a tank, and yeah absolutely, but werewolf provides everything we need to help our group. Major Breach of course, but also Minor Maim from us and our Wolves, on top of easy group CC and off-balance. With Claws of Anguish we also cut enemy healing in half, which is great for PvP of course but can be really useful for certain enemies too. Really, the best thing we do is actually deal damage, meaning everything goes way faster, especially in public groups. We also give Minor Courage to our group by just existing, and even an easy and lengthy Minor Force buff (along with empower, for whatever that's worth).
Quite a few tweaks you can make if you like.
For weapons, 2h works quite well for raw damage, just sub in the undaunted taunt, cleave and stampede.
For werewolf, your claws and heal morphs are your call. Claws of Life is incredible survivability, but we already have a lot of that to be honest, where as Claws of Anguish is amazing in both PvP and IA for its status and defile procs. Hircine's Bounty is a huge heal and will keep you alive really well, but we already get the same recovery buffs from Oakensoul which is a waste, so even though we're a tank Hircine's Rage with reduced cost and Major Berserk can be really nice for pushing out some damage when needed for only 2% more damage taken.
The rest of the build is hard to change, but of course play around and see what you find.
