Description du build
In testing. Theory-crafting gist is: Support healer running in an Under 50s group that already has SPC/Transmutation. Running and developing from Level 16 to 49.
Nightmother's + Hollowfang should allow build to leverage moderate-high crit to proc both Hollowfang heals, and Nightmother's Major Breach. Given low damage skills, and little burst potential, this build is reasonably helpless outside a group setting.
Utilities should include
- Regular immobilisations from poisons, and Frost Clench, and Charged Ice Staff, creating opportunities for DPS to burst targets down.
- Reapply Major Breach through critical damage on front bar. Maintain high uptimes of Major Breach and Minor Maim on enemies. Combine with Fetcher Infection to also apply Minor Vulnerability. Critical strikes from Fetcher Infection are ideal (and can also proc Hollowfang heals).
- Regenerate Ultimate using Shimmering Shield to maintain maximum uptime of Permafrost (10% damage reduction on group within the skill's aoe, + snares on enemies). Note: This is easily denied by enemies who know not to target projectiles on Shimmering Shield users.
- Corrupting Pollen creates an aoe heal over time that also applies Minor Defile to enemies, further reducing their sustain.
- Enchanted Growth applies Minor Intellect and Minor Endurance to allies, for 20secs of increased Mag and Stam sustain.
5 Light, 2 Heavy, for survivability while using Light Armor passives. Reinforced heavy chest.
Senche-Raht's Grip backbar for greater healing done.
Key buffs:
Major Sorcery - Blue Betty (20% spell dmg to self, auto-purge w. 5sec cooldown, mag-recovery boost)
Major Protection - Permafrost ult (10% dmg reduction to self + allies)
Minor Protection - Ice Fortress (5% dmg reduction to self)
Major Resolve - Ice Fortress (c.5000 resists to self)
Major Heroism - Shimmering Shield (boosts ult production on self, only when hit with projectiles)
Minor Toughness - Maturation passive (10% increase to max health, for 20 seconds when healed, on self and allies)
Major Mending - Heavy attacks on Healing Staff bar. Accelerated Growth passive when a Green Balance skill heals player under 40% health. (16% Healing Done).
8% healing done - Senche-Raht's Grit 2 piece (backbar only).
36% block cost red. + 20% dmg that can be blocked - Ancient Knowledge + Ice Staff (frontbar only).
Concerns:
- No damage! Very vulnerable when targeted. Not much counterplay without DPS supporting.
- No Race Against Time for Snare immunity (5 second cooldown on Netch purge).
- Almost all the debuffs are easily purged. This could be advantageous if DPS run Plaguebreak to punish purging.
- Maturation is a LATE Green Balance passive, so Minor Toughness buff (major advantage of running Warden) will not be common in U50s builds.
- Most of the healing done percentage boosts on heal bar ONLY APPLY to Green Balance skills, making Radiating Regen a lot weaker on this build than on, for example, Necro or Sorc healer. Radiating a pretty major skill, so not good if it's gimped.
- No Illustrious Healing. Much slower heal over time from Corrupting Pollen comparatively.
- Might be better to rebuild towards a Health Tank healer, as some heals on Warden do scale off health.
- Could potentially make group much beefier, but will not substantially help with group's low dmg output in the way Necro might.
